Christopher Buhlmann is a Director at ParkView. Prior to joining ParkView, Mr. Buhlmann was an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan‘s German M&A/Corporate Finance practice and based in Frankfurt. Mr. Buhlmann spent more than 12 years with J.P. Morgan both in London (EMEA TMT) and Frankfurt (German M&A/Corporate Finance) focusing on complex M&A matters as well as public takeovers.
Mr. Buhlmann has advised a variety of both large- and mid-cap corporate clients, private equity investors and family-owned companies across industries with a focus on the telecommunications, technology and healthcare sectors. He has helped clients on a broad range of M&A and corporate finance topics, including public takeovers, demergers and spin-offs, shareholder activism, buy- and sell-sides, joint ventures and minority partnerships, capital structure decisions, IPOs and capital increases.
Mr. Buhlmann has advised on some of the most prominent recent German M&A transactions including, inter alia, advising KKR on its voluntary public tender offer for Axel Springer, PUMA on Kering’s spin-off of PUMA shares, METRO Group on its demerger, Ottobock on its strategic partnership with EQT, Aixtron on the public tender offer from a Chinese investor consortium, Diebold on the public tender offer for Wincor Nixdorf and METRO Group on the sale of GALERIA Kaufhof to Hudson‘s Bay Company.
Mr. Buhlmann holds a degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from Ilmenau University of Technology.
