Christopher Buhlmann is a Managing Director at ParkView Partners. Prior to joining ParkView, Mr. Buhlmann was an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan‘s German M&A/Corporate Finance practice and based in Frankfurt. Mr. Buhlmann spent more than 12 years with J.P. Morgan both in London (EMEA TMT) and Frankfurt (German M&A/Corporate Finance) focusing on complex M&A matters as well as public takeovers.

Mr. Buhlmann has advised a variety of both large- and mid-cap corporate clients, private equity investors and family-owned companies across industries with a focus on the telecommunications, technology and healthcare sectors. He has helped clients on a broad range of M&A and corporate finance topics, including public takeovers, demergers and spin-offs, shareholder activism, buy- and sell-sides, joint ventures and minority partnerships, capital structure decisions, IPOs and capital increases.

Mr. Buhlmann has advised on some of the most prominent recent German M&A transactions including, inter alia, CropEnergies on the EUR 1.0bn public delisting offer by Südzucker, Thoma Bravo on its partnership with and taking private of EQS Group AG for EUR 0.4bn, the Supervisory Board of SYNLAB on the EUR 3.9 bn public acquisition offer by Cinven, va-Q-tec on its strategic partnership with and taking private by EQT Private Equity, Vonovia on its EUR 21 bn voluntary public takeover offer for Deutsche Wohnen, CANCOM SE on the strategic review and EUR 0.4 bn disposal of CANCOM UK&I, KKR on its voluntary public tender offer for Axel Springer, Morgan Stanley Infrastructure on its voluntary public tender offer for VTG, PUMA on Kering’s distribution-in-kind of PUMA shares, METRO Group on its demerger, Ottobock on its strategic partnership with EQT, Aixtron on the public tender offer from a Chinese investor consortium, Diebold on the public tender offer for Wincor Nixdorf and METRO Group on the sale of GALERIA Kaufhof to Hudson‘s Bay Company.

Mr. Buhlmann holds a degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from Ilmenau University of Technology.
